Your innovation in brief
Digital Radio Broadcasting will be mandated across the globe by all countries including India due to the inherent advantage of increasing the number of channels, high quality Audio for long distance reception, useful data like traffic, news, educational programs to rural areas, emergency warning in the event of natural disasters in an automated fashion to all radios including car, desktop and mobile where mobile networks may be completely dysfunctional. However, current Digital Radio Broadcast Receiver solutions in market require dedicated chips to perform complex operations like Demodulation in hardware and hence end solution becomes very costly. Inntot provides a high quality and very cost-effective solution based on the concept of Software Defined Radio with its own patented improvisations. Inntot solution reduces the Bill of Materials (BoM) cost and product cost significantly.
Describe about your innovation
Inntot uses Software Defined Radio concepts along with its patented innovations ( 2 Indian and 2 US patents GRANTED) to provide a high quality (RF and timing) and cost effective solutions. The complex digital radio receiver operations like signal demodulation, channel decoding etc are done in software instead of hardware chips. •Highly quality and optimized solution of Inntot in software could bring down the Bill of Material (BoM) cost and product cost significantly and there by opening up high volume markets. Cost savings could in the order of 3-12 USD per radio device. •Reusable software components across customers, Silicon chips, products, market segments, countries could also bring down the Digital Radio Receiver cost substantially. A schedule improvement from a 2 -3 years development cycle to a minimal 3 months prioritization time which results in a magnificent TTM (Time to Market). •Attracts more product makers to participate in the digital broadcast radio transformation. •Switching to digital radio promotes green technology as transmission power required is substantially less. Power requirement for digital is as low as 10% of the analog transmission. •Could be used for entertainment and Educational purposes on a very large scale - especially in the wake of COVID pandemic. •Promotion of very useful features like Emergency Warning Systems in event of natural disasters and calamities. •Common Man gets high quality product with very useful features at affordable cost.
