Proposed smart basins are equipped with automatic faucet, automatic soap dispenser, smart hand dryer along with touch led-mirror, wooden cabinet and ceramic basin. Thus combo utilities are provided in single unit, which need to assemble individually. Most energy efficient battery run unit in the market, running for months on single charge.
Describe about your innovation
The proposed smart basin offers following unique features when compared with traditional wash basins: • Single Basin unit laden with all smart features including smart faucet and smart soap dispenser with volume control, smart hand dryer, smart touch activated led mirror with brightness control along with wooden cabinet etc. Users can customize this features based on their need. • Proposed unit is also provided with different power option choices; 1) battery driven smart basin 2) AC powered smart basin. 3) Wired basin with battery backup during power-cut. • With R&D electronic circuit and programs, proposed battery run smart basin unit runs for months on quick single charge. Thus making product viable for regular use even in remote localities, tourist locations, public and government places, schools etc. where it can even be solar charged. (These improved versions of utilities are controlled by a central process unit (Arduino nano) coded with commands and powered by battery in most efficient way with the use of PIR and IR circuitry. Thus single charge of basin battery (12V-8A) runs the smart basin unit for 3 months on robust use) • Importantly, it is user friendly, and can directly be installed with easy steps without any alteration, whereas expertise are needed for existing auto faucets. Even providing service and maintenance is easy with proposed smart basins (Control unit installed in cabinet itself). • Customers can choose from below smart basin models 1) Premium Segment (an artistic human sculpture) 2) Mid-Premium Segment 3) Vintage-Economy Segment
