Your innovation in brief
Millions of people in India have died of corona infection so far. This includes doctors who especially protect people from disease. The Medical Research Council of India (ICMR) has officially announced that more than 680 doctors have died so far in the second wave of the Corona outbreak alone. While doctors were baffled as to how to deal with this severe corona period, we rushed the corona patients to the hospital with the oxygen first aid they needed, regardless of our lives. Yes we are the first to introduce India's first free oxygen auto and bike ambulance service.
Describe about your innovation
KADAMAI EDUCATION AND SOCIAL WELFARE TRUST ( www.kadamaitrust.org/ ) is established in the year 2014 for the educational service, under the Indian trust Act 1956, bearing registration no.243/2017. We initiated Our KADAMAI TRUST for social work in Chennai, especially in North-Chennai (A High density populated area). We started with Free Tuition Centre, then migrated to Computer training, General knowledge, Spoken English classes, Cleaning campaign in our zone, Tree plantation, support for Employment after training, Vocational training to Local housewives, Blood donation camp, Free medical camp, Free Clinic with Doctor consultation and medicines (Daily 60 patients have been benefited). We are doing awareness on various issues through our vehicles even today. More than 20000 Students, Youth, and Housewives have been benefited though social services. During the COVID-19 Pandemic situation, a lot of corona cases have been addressed & many of the patients lost their lives without any awareness. In fact, in those days - Corona patient’s families also were not ready to touch the patient due to lack of awareness. Hence we have decided to come/focus on the critical area with courage to save at least a single life. But Through our Auto Ambulance service (India's 1st Free Oxygen Auto& Bike ambulance service) we have saved around 780 lives.
