We make a milk adulteration portable testing card that quickly validates milk adulterants and offers us an instant result.It detects 6 adulterants with just a single drop of milk without any expertise and lab set-up.
Describe about your innovation
Adulteration is a major problem in milk and milk products across the world. Over 2.2 million people, including children dying across the world due to severe diseases and deadly cancers, which happen due to adulteration in milk. Around 68.7 percent of milk and milk products sold in the country are not as per the golden standards laid down by the (FSSAI). In INDIA,87 percent of citizens would be suffering from serious diseases like cancer by the year 2025 says (WHO). -A worrying 79% of branded or loose milk available in the market is adulterated, the latest annual report by the Consumer Guidance Society of India (CGSI) has found. -According to The Hindu 79% of milk in Maharashtra is adulterated. -As compared to the research conducted for 2018, the adulteration has increased by 5% this year.” The report also said of the 340 non-branded or loose milk packets tested, 76 samples, which made up 22%, were standardized, while the remaining 264 packets (78%) were found to be adulterated. -68% of milk & milk products in India are not as per FSSAI standards: Official -We make a milk adulteration portable testing card that quickly validates milk adulterants and offers us an instant result.
